Trick-or-Treating

Halloween has come and gone...and so has most of the candy. The kids got a pretty good haul I thought. First of all, Porter was the Hulk. He made a good Hulk. He made the growling noise and everything. Shandlee's outfit was kind of thrown together but I thought it was cute. My friend Amanda helped me make the tutu. Thanks Amanda, I think it looked so cute on her. We can use it for 'dress-ups' too. Rowdy had to work this year but we stopped by the prison to see him. We then went to Grandma Reeve's house and collected that loot. We went with Christy, Kade, Carson and Carver to trick-or-treat in the Pheasant Glen subdivision. We go there every year but this year it seemed like there were alot of dark houses. It reminded me of the email that went around about Halloween sucking this year because of all the foreclosures. But maybe it was just me thinking that, because like I said, the kids still got alot of candy. Shandlee was quite the trooper. She didn't want to let go of her bucket, even when it was over-flowing. I took the stroller for her but she was hardly in it. She would try say, "trick-or-treat" but said "thank you" better. Of course, everyone said how cute she was.
