Porter likes to play outside alot. Well tonight I got a knock on the door. I always know when the kids are coming to tattle on Porter because they knock on the door. Well a whole group of kids are standing at the door ready to tell me how they saw Porter pee outside and show off his bum. So I went and got Porter and had him come in. I talked to him about how we don't pee outside. He was in tears, I think he thought I was going to be really mad. I was a little bit, but it was more that I wanted to laugh. Is that bad? I know he shouldn't be peeing outside, but come on, he is a 4 year old boy. What happened to the good 'ol days when little boys would have peeing contests in the street? Is it just because of where we live or is it just everyones own views. Anyways, I thought it was kind of funny and Porter now knows he cannot pee outside unless he asks us first. What is your opinion?
*Disclaimer...I am not saying it is ok to pee outside, when there is a bathroom close by. I don't think he should have done it, especially because it is shared property. But is it really something to freak out about...?

depends on where I guess. at the farm don't mind, not so much.. at my house, i have issues. that's why we have potties!!! :)
Chelsi is pretty good at not getting upset with me when I pee outside.

Hank went through that stage a little. I think it is more over-looked if you are in a house. There's just no privacy in a townhome or apartment!
I don't think they should freak out, but it is shared playground.I remember Randy and Ryan having a peeing contest out side...if there is a bathroom, they should use it, but freak out, no, However, once is enough to learn that lesson. I had to chuckle too...still luv ya Port....GMC

My husband still pees outside. Could you come have a chat with him? It's not a big deal at all. My Preston pooped outside once. Yuck!
