Porter was on the science Olympiad team this year. He stayed after school every Wednesday for an hour while they studied different things. On the day of the tournament, he did "leaf finder" and "rock hound." Three schools competed. On leaf finder, he and his partner took first. On the rock hound, he and his partner Hank Lundquist were the only competitors so they got first. The team took first out of all three schools too. It was fun for them. I was so happy and proud of Porter. Good job Buddy!
