One night at dinner shandlee kept talking about a boy named Karter R. I asked her if she had a crush on him and she got mad at me and said no. Later that night as I was tucking her in she told me she actually did have a crush in him. I told her that was ok but she can't be trying to kiss him. :).
The next day she told me she told him she liked him. She didn't really know if he felt the same way or not because some kids said he did and some said he didn't. I don't know if Karter actually said anything or not. I guess a group of them at together at recess all the time. So everyday I hear all about what Karter said or did that day.
We saw him at the trunk or treat and I swear she batted her eyes and started swinging those hips! Rowdy and I looked at each other like did that really happen?!
She had been asking to have him over to play but I told her she can just play at school. She told me that he put his hand on her knee while at the rug (at school) and she put her hand on top of his. Ugh!!! Totally not ready for this. Then that same night as I was tucking her in she asked if we could have him over for dinner!!! Again... NO!!! Rowdy keeps asking if he needs to have a chat with Karter R. And she says yes. Oh my goodness where did this girl get her bravery from? Certainly not me!!!
