Mini Getaway

For awhile now the kids have asked over and over to go to Chuck E Cheese. So finally we decided to take a mini vacation last week. We got a hotel room in Orem and left on Wednesday. The kids were so excited to go on vacation. They think it is so exciting to pack their clothes and toys to play with in the car. That night we ate at my most favorite place up there, THE TRAINING TABLE. Yummy fries and dipping sauce. MMMM...Then we hit the mall and the kids had fun there. (I guess we don't get out much or our kids are easily entertained. Probably a little of both.)
Thursday we went to IKEA. We dropped the kids off at the play place and they had a good time while we shopped. Perfect for us. All of us happy. The hour wasn't long enough. I enjoyed looking around and wish I could have spent more time and money. Next was destination Chuck E Cheese. The kids LOVED it. I'm sure it will become a regular thing now. Anyway, we did some other shopping and games and eating great food. It didn't last very long but it was what we needed. Good quality family time. Gotta love it.
