Happy Birthday Porter!!

Porter turned 6 on the 22nd of January. Seriously where does the time go? It seems like yesterday we were just bringing him home from the hospital and he was screaming all night. The day started when he woke up and saw that I had decorated his door for him and the rest of the house. He thought that was pretty cool. I called his name into KONY for the birthday segment. They had a total of 19 birthdays that day so I kept telling him not to get upset if he didn't win the birthday prize. Well, no problem becuase he WON! He was so excited and quite honestly so was I. He won a birthday cake from LINS and a floral bouquet (that still needs to be redeemed.)
At school he got a little gift bag from his teacher and principal. He also go to hand out his treats which were REESES peanut butter cups. After school we had his birthday party. This year I did it the easy way at McDonalds. Last year took so much planning I figured I could go easy this year right? Well we had 11 kids show up so I thought that was pretty good. I think they had an OK time. I didn't think they would get so bored playing but we did have some down time. Porter had a great time with his new toys and friends.
After the party Rowdy and I took the Porter and Shandlee to the theaters to see ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKQUEL. They loved it. That was pretty much his day. He is excited to be 6.
