One man's junk is another man's treasure

so porter went up to his friends house to see if he could play. He comes running back,"mom they are selling stuff in their yard and there is a clock with bells for 50 cents." While running back to his room for money he yells," I'm going to go buy it." Well I guess he took $2 and came back with 4 things: the clock, (actually kind of cute) a way old jewelry box, (cuz I need a place for my rings and he loves me)a christmas plate (because he loves me and dad) and a basket with orange flowers on it ( again, becuase he loves me). I couldn't help but laugh because he was so excited about it. I asked if they had any toys and he said yes but he wanted to buy me stuff because he has too many toys. He did it all out of the kindness of his little heart, but seriously what am I going to do with this stuff?

You are going to pretend to LOVE it and then somewhere down the road you will sell it at a yard sell :)
Your kids are so cute. I miss talking to you all the time.

Talk about a proud shopper, he couldn't look any happier..let him have the clock, and just treasure the stuff-at least for a while...cute boy--proud of him shopping the bargains.

Did you tell him that he can look in the newspaper and every Saturday go to about a hundred yard sales here in Southern Utah? Think of all the good stuff he could come up with!!!!!
