Christmas Eve and Day

Christmas Eve day Brenda and I took the kids up to Pine Valley to give dad and Laurett a visit. Laurett had sugar cookies ready for the kids to decorate. They loved that and then went out to run and play in the snow. We had a good time but was ready to get back to warmer St. George.
Christmas Eve we went to Syd and Nick's house. We had a wonderful bowl of chili and other treats. We then played the traditional "Left and Right" game with the white elephant gifts. We had a really good time and thanks for having us over!!

Christmas day Shan came walking into our bedroom at 7:40. She wanted to show us what Santa had brought her. She was pretty excited. We told her to wait a few minutes, hoping Porter would wake up. Well just before 8 we ended up just waking him up. Shan tried waking him up by yelling his name. He scowled at her and we told him Santa had come. He jumped out of his bed, ran down the hall and said, "oh my gosh he really did." The kids loved all their things and played all day long.
